Our exciting journey begins in Bishkek, where we will set off along a picturesque road following the Chu River. Along the way, you’ll witness the majestic mountain ranges of the Tien Shan and vast rolling fields. After about two hours, we’ll reach our first stop—a stunning viewpoint overlooking the confluence of two powerful rivers. This breathtaking location will add an extra layer of wonder and beauty to our adventure. As we continue, the landscape transforms into towering cliffs, and the road winds its way through a dramatic mountain highway, leading us to nature’s hidden treasures.
Kok-Moynok Canyons
Imagine vibrant red and yellow sandstone formations, shaped by millennia of erosion. Located in Boom Gorge, approximately 150 km from Bishkek, these colorful, otherworldly landscapes create a surreal and mesmerizing atmosphere. We will take a short hike to the base of the upper hills, where stunning panoramic views of the canyon’s alien-like terrain will unfold before us.
Kulamabel Pass & Meteorological Station
After exploring the canyons, we will ascend to Kulamabel Pass, standing at 3,000 meters above sea level. From here, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding valleys and snow-capped peaks. This location is particularly loved by photographers and nature enthusiasts for its unparalleled beauty and mesmerizing scenery.
We will then continue our ascent to a meteorological station at 3,200 meters, a site of both scientific and visual significance. This high-altitude station offers some of the most stunning views of the Kyrgyz mountains and valleys. Here, you can breathe in the crisp, pure mountain air and fully appreciate the serenity of the highlands.
Issyk-Kul – The Pearl of Kyrgyzstan
After our mountain adventures, we will head to the breathtaking Issyk-Kul Lake, known as the Pride of Kyrgyzstan. This high-altitude, saltwater lake is a true natural wonder.
